EDETAL Gel with peroxide
Gel for orifice detection and chemical and mechanical enlargement of root canals
COMPOSITION
EDTA (17 %), peroxide (10 %), gel-forming agent
PROPERTIES
Main component is EDTA. After injection into dentine, EDTA forms a complex with dentine calcium, loosens the structure of hard tooth tissues and makes easier the enlargement of calcified and sclerous orifice of the canals, cleaning and formation of hard accessible tooth canals. Gelling agent is a good lubricant for endodontic instruments. Water soluble gel base allow easy and fast washing of the canals.

– revealing and formation of root canal orifice
– lubricating of dental instruments during chemical and mechanical enlargement of root canals
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Drug idiosyncrasy.
Use with great care for allergic patient. Don’t misuse.
SIDE EFFECTS
As far as all terms of storing, transporting and application are observed, there are no side effects.
METHOD OF USE
Attention! It is recommended to store material at room temperature (22–24) °C within 1–2 hours before use.
Before applying of EDETECT gel with peroxide isolate tooth with rubber dam. Enlarge tooth cavity and clean the pulp chamber. Wash root canal with 1–3 % solution of sodium hypochlorite, then put gel on endodontic instrument and with the help of reamer or K-files achieve active foam formation in root canal.
On half way of root canal length clean the canal contents and wash it with sodium hypochlorite solution using endodontic needle. Then lubricate endodontic instrument for enlargement with fresh portion of EDETECT gel with peroxide and fulfill mechanical enlargement of the canal.
If necessary repeat procedure several times using fresh portion of gel. Then wash the canal with sodium hypochlorite solution using endodontic needle until complete stop of foam formation.
Final washing of the canal should be done with distilled water.
Attention! Do not leave material in the canal.

STORAGE
Store at 5 °C to 25 °C, in a well sealed container. Attention! Close material tightly after use.
The material must not be used after the expiry date. Shelf life — 3 years.
