Drug idiosyncrasy. Don’t misuse.
POSSIBLE ADVERSE EFFECTS
If the conditions of storing, transporting and following the instructions are satisfied, there are no adverse effects.
COMPOSITION AND CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
Zinc-phosphate cement AQUA-CEM is produced in 3 colours: white, light yellow and goldenyellow. Anti-bacterial zinc-phosphate cement AQUA-CEM contains argentums and metronidazole. The cement is produced in the process of mixing of the powder containing modified zinc oxide and magnesia with the liquid which is a solution of orthophosphoric acid with zinc phosphate and aluminium phosphate. Calcium fluoride supplement reduces a risk of secondary decay, inhibiting fermentation and glucose decompounding into milk acid. Mixing the powder and the liquid in weight proportion 2:1 brings plastic mixture which forms set cement with strength under compression 105 MPa which higher strength index of standard over 50 %. Film thickness of cement mass for crown fixing does not exceed 20 µm. Argentums and metronidazole supplement in the anti-bacterial cement prohibits cariogenic microflora development.
The materials are produced for using in aggressive biological matrix with the temperature range between 32ºC and 42ºC (in the mouth cavity at the temperature (37±1)ºC and humidity 60-90 %).
METHODS OF ADMINISTRATION
The standard conditions for mixing powder and liquid: indoor temperature between +18°C and +23°C and relative humidity (50-10) %. At the temperature above +23°C stir plate should be kept in the refrigerator during 10 minutes. For convenience in operation with the components testing mixing of the powder and the solution is necessary.
Cement paste is received by mixing the powder and the liquid. At first the liquid is mixed with small amounts of the powder (1/8, 1/4, 1/2), then with the remained half of the powder. It is necessary to stir thoroughly each amount in circular motions with the palette-knife for receiving homogeneous concentration. The limit period of mixing the powder with the liquid is 1 minute.
For fixing the permanent denture 1 dosage of measuring spoon (0.18-0.21 g) of the powder is mixed with 2 drops of the liquid (0.10-0.12 g) on mixing pad. The cement paste should be fluidal and keep the plasticity during 2 minutes. During the time of treatment this material is inserted onto the crown and the crown is fixed on the prepared tooth without with little effort. The patient occludes the teeth. In the mouth cavity the cement hardens during 7-8 minutes. After hardening the cement excesses should be removed.
For filling the tooth 2 dosage of measuring spoon (0.37-0.42 g) of the powder is mixed with 3 drops of the liquid (0.15-0.18 g) on mixing pad. The cement paste should keep the plasticity during 1-1.5 minutes and harden during 5-6 minutes in the mouth cavity. The tooth under treatment should be protected from saliva, after cement hardening the patient should fast during 2 hours.
Close the materials tightly after use.
